I was just in SF area visiting old friends and they took me down to Rodeo beach a few times to hunt for sea glass, we only found small pieces. You could tell that place had been cleaned out of anything significant long ago. Here in the east we have lots of beaches south of NYC but few with good glass. I happen to know of two that have yielded me a pretty good collection in 18 mos. Even these beaches though are now being tapped out by me and others. Check out my sea glass blog and it's treasures.
